A little late posting this, but a few weeks ago we had a trip to Lisbon for the weekend. A couple of days before this trip was our eldest sons 21st, and he wanting to go to Lisbon, mainly for Benfica Stadium.

Last weekend (26th May) was the 50th Caribbean Carnival in Preston. Despite the weather and altered route, it was a good turn out of people to watch it. We haven’t see it a few years, and I think its decreased in size a little, but still worth going.

Last weekend we had the chance to go to London for a few days on our own without the boys. So we tried to see and get as much as we could done in the time we had.

Last week we had a nice break in the Lake District, a place near Lowther Castle in Penrith. We had the perfect weather with lots of sun, and no rain 😉 Plenty of walking was done, food was eaten and drinks were had.

After a couple of years being cancelled last weekend was the Blackpool Airshow, so we thought we would go on the Sunday. Early start and there before 10am, over four hrs before it starts (show starts at 2.10pm) and it was already busy. I know the weather was great, but god it was busy….
