Sunday afternoon was my eldest son’s rugby game against Blackbrook Royals. Now last time we played them away, they really did a number on us, and we lost by a big score. I think our boy’s were not going to let it go the same way at home.
It did start off a little slow, with both sides not gaining any advantage, but when the tries started coming in the pace went full on. Tempers were a little high at times, and one or two scuffles had to be broken up by the boys. I would say most of it was coming from Blackbrook, as I think they thought it would be an easy win. The last 15 mins were nail biting, and with the last try and conversion from us, it was a draw 16-16.
