A little late posting this, but a few weeks ago we had a trip to Lisbon for the weekend. A couple of days before this trip was our eldest sons 21st, and he wanting to go to Lisbon, mainly for Benfica Stadium.
It was a whirlwind couple of days, but was worth it. Lisbon is such an amazing city, and I really love the old town, just wish we could of spent more time there. Using a tuk tuk to get around on the first day was ideal, as the drive did a great job of showing us some nice places in the old town before dropping us off at the Christmas Market which we were lucky enough to arrive on its first day of opening, which was nice…
On the second day after a great breakfast… it was our tour around Benfica. Again an amazing place with lots to see, and I think birthday boy enjoyed it…
Only a few pictures below, and they really don’t do Lisbon justice. There was so much to see, and so little time. Next visit will have to be more than a weekend..
