The other week I had a day off work for my wife Birthday and she wanted to go to a park in Lancaster called Williamson Park. It was only a 40mins drive from us, so we were there in no time, very near the place we got Kylo, our forever home rescue dog.
Anyway, it was a lovely day, though a little cold. The colours of the trees have started to change lately so that was nice. The park is large, and has plenty of places to walk around with Aston Memorial right in the centre and you can see for miles, and right over to Morecambe bay.
There is a small zoo and a butterfly gardens, but as we had the dog with us, we thought we would save that for the next time we come.
