So I went and added another game to my Steam Library… I know I don’t seem to have the time to play anything much anymore, or the Pc power to run AAA games, but this one I have been watching for a few years now while its been in early access. It’s now reached V.70 and was on offer because I already have Dwarf Fortress I had no choice… 😉
Being made by just one guy, its an impressive feat and I know he still has someway to go, but what I have seen so far and played of the demo I really like it and it’s my type of game. It’s a step up in scale from Rimworld and just under Dwarf Fortress but I’m hoping its more accessible than Fortress because as much as I love that game, its so hard…
On the looks, there is something I really like. At first glance its very simple and basic (great for my pc), but the more you see it run, it does give the feeling of life. I did get another game like this a few years ago called Odd Realm but it just never got me, sometimes it was hard to work out what was going on screen because of the minimal graphic style, which was a same.
Anyway, I’m going to dive into this and see what I can do, and maybe I will do a story run in the future..
