The amount of Tv shows on my to watch list is getting bigger and bigger, so I thought if I write a post, I might start working through them 🙂 Top thinking!!
Of course I have been posting a few things to my Mastodon account @Leemdixon@mastodon.social under the #mymediaintake , I have started working on the X-Files and Red Dwarf.
But as there are so many episodes I’m going to have to run several shows at once I think 😉
The third and final season of the American television series Star Trek: Picard features the character Jean-Luc Picard in the year 2401 as he reunites with the former command crew of the USS Enterprise (Geordi La Forge, Worf, William Riker, Beverly Crusher, Deanna Troi, and Data) while facing a mysterious new enemy who is hunting Picard’s son.
Having saved Gotham, the Titans hit the road to head back to San Francisco. But after a stop in Metropolis, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a supernatural cult with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before.
In the mid-season premiere, the Titans — with the exception of Gar — are returned to the place they had vanished, the Temple of Trigon, only to find Sebastian and Mother Mayhem are no longer there. The Titans rush to find them before Sebastian summons his father Trigon, their pursuit leading them to a mysterious town whose populace is hiding a deep secret. Along the way, the Titans come across a prophecy that may require Kory to make a huge sacrifice to save the world, but Dick’s feelings for Kory surface and he refuses to let her die. In the final episodes, the Titans enter into an epic battle to save both Kory and the world…. Gar goes on a quest of self-discovery, attempting to find his true purpose and to save his friends…. and Rachel embraces darker powers while Conner, struggling with his Lex Luthor side, goes his own way to defeat Sebastian. Amidst all that, Tim and STAR Labs guru Bernard’s growing feelings for each other become increasingly difficult to resist, and when Bernard’s life is threatened, Tim finally becomes the hero he has always strived to be.

Hunters season 2 brings back the title group of Nazi-hunting characters with an even bigger star-studded cast as they chase their most daring real-life target. Set in 1979, Hunters season 2 picks up two years after Jonah discovered that Al Pacino’s character Meyer Offerman was actually Wilhelm Zuchs, A.K.A. The Wolf, the Nazi doctor who tormented the real Meyer and Ruth in concentration camps. After disbanding due to a hunt-gone-wrong two years prior, Jonah and FBI agent Millie Morris gather the hunters in Argentina for one final mission as they track the most notorious Nazi in history: Adolf Hitler.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities (or simply Cabinet of Curiosities) is a horror anthology streaming television series created by Guillermo del Toro for Netflix. It features eight modern horror stories in the traditions of the Gothic and Grand Guignol genres. Two are co-written by del Toro himself, while the others are written and directed by various filmmakers.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is set in Night City, a self-reliant metropolis located in the Free State of California that suffers from extensive corruption, cybernetic addiction, and gang violence. The city is split into six districts, each of which has its own precise living requirements, and is controlled by several megacorporations, including Arasaka and its rival Militech. The anime’s story is primarily set in Santo Domingo, the oldest, poorest, and most industrial district of Night City.
The series follows the fortunes of Dave Lister who is stranded three million years in the future, together with the hologrammatic representation of his former bunkmate and immediate superior Arnold Rimmer; a creature known only as Cat; and the ship’s computer Holly. During Series II, the crew encounter a mechanoid called Kryten, who joins them from Series III onwards. In Series VI the Red Dwarf ship has been stolen from the crew, forcing them to travel in the smaller Starbug craft for two series. In Series VII Kristine Kochanski, Lister’s former love interest, joins the crew, following the departure of Rimmer.[8] In series VIII the entire crew of the Red Dwarf ship—including a pre-accident Rimmer—are resurrected, but the Starbug crew, along with Rimmer, find themselves sentenced to two years in the ship’s brig for “abusing classified information”. Series IX (Red Dwarf: Back to Earth) involves Lister, Rimmer (back as a hologram), Cat, and Kryten hallucinating that they’ve arrived on Earth in another dimension in the early 21st century, and Series X to XII sees the same four crew members continue their adventures back on Red Dwarf, Kochanski having departed due to Lister’s descent into depression and Holly offline due to water damage. A back-up of Holly is installed in The Promised Land.
The series revolves around Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), who investigate the eponymous “X-Files”: marginalized, unsolved cases involving paranormal phenomena. Mulder is a skilled criminal profiler, an ardent supernaturalist, and a conspiracy theorist who believes in the existence of the paranormal, whereas Scully is a medical doctor and a skeptic who has been assigned to scientifically analyze Mulder’s discoveries. Early in the series, both agents become pawns in a larger conflict and come to trust only each other and a few select people. The agents also discover an agenda of the government to keep secret the existence of extraterrestrial life. Mulder and Scully’s shared adventures lead them to develop a close platonic bond, which by series’ end develops into a romantic relationship. Roughly one third of the series’ episodes follow a complex story arc about a planned alien invasion, whereas the other two-thirds are “monster of the week” episodes that each focus on a one-off villain, mutant, or monster.
