This was just a quick test image I was asked if possible. A client had asked us if we could create a flower being shattered or explode either in photoshop or really in video. I did a quick less than an hour mockup. I think it turned out ok…
I started with finding a rose online, bending it slightly and then just painting out the rose and painting parts of it back in again separated from the rose. Adding a background and then a movement line running through it to make it look like it’s been hit by something. Overall it has about 8 elements on different layers to make this up.
