The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

Movie night on Saturday, and we had a choice of The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, Aquaman, Mary Poppins Returns and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. And as Lego is a big thing in our house, Lego Movie 2 it was….

Without any spoilers it was ok, not as good I felt as the first film. Looked a little nicer and more “fancy effects”, but the film was just ok…. but then it was lego so that’s a plus. Guess I will be seeing more of the new figures and sets in the house soon enough.

The citizens of Bricksburg face a dangerous new threat when LEGO DUPLO invaders from outer space start to wreck everything in their path. The battle to defeat the enemy and restore harmony to the LEGO universe takes Emmet, Lucy, Batman and the rest of their friends to faraway, unexplored worlds that test their courage and creativity.
