I’ve been creative for Christmas this weekend…

Getting closer and closer to Christmas, so this weekend, it was time time to be creative.

We had a stone painting kit and a gingerbread village kit, and guess who’s job it was to put them all together, yes, your’s truly….

Though I do think I did a reasonably job 🙂

    GONE ALL PLEX

I have been watching the development of PLEX for sometime and finally decided to instal and see if I could run my own media server for all the films, tv shows and music I have collected over many, many years. After a fairly simple setup, I had it up and running, then I got the buy the lifetime pass at a cheaper price email and went for it.

UPDATE ON MY SON (10 MONTHS ON)

It’s been over 10 months since my 8yr old had his stroke, and I would like to give an update to all the people that have asked, helped and shown concern and love for Ryan…
To say that the last 10 months have been hard is an understatement, not just on Ryan but his brother his mum and even the dog has felt, and had to deal with some adjustments. So much has changed and we have had to deal with each problem, large and small in different ways that we would not have a year ago.

    LEGO MILLENNIUM FALCON

Well they have been dropping hints that something big was coming for the 1st of September and they were not wrong…..
With 7,541 pieces in total it’s the biggest Lego model they have ever sold, but at £650 UK, I don’t think it will be making its way to our house sadly.

I MEAN IT’S SO BIG IT COMES IN A BOX WITH WHEELS.

Each LEGO® BrickHeadz construction character comes with its own buildable collector’s base plate featuring series number and BrickHeadz icon.

    GET WELL SOON CARDS

Last week Ryan received all these “get well soon” cards from his school friends. Such a lovely collection and very interesting pictures they have drawn. They have been so worried for him, some of his friends even visited him in hospital and at home. It’s great to see he has so many friends out there….

MY SON IS TOO YOUNG FOR THIS TO HAPPEN…

So proud of my youngest son, I don’t know how he’s kept going. And as I write this it’s his third going into fourth day in hospital….
Started almost two weeks ago with him feeling sick and very tired. Then on Friday morning he tried to get out of bed and fell as he had lost total control of his left leg. We phoned ambulance and was taken to A&E hospital. After a few hours and few tests, and with the use of this leg coming back they discharge him. Walking back to the car I could see he wasn’t right, he wasn’t steady on his feet, was not focused and seemed confused. The doctors may have done their job, but I know my son. He’s a bright healthy and very steady footed young boy…
