  • The Dog House

Latest home project was to make Kylo his own little place for outside when it’s windy or cold. He’s very much an indoors dog, and really doesn’t like being outside in the garden on his own. So I though if I make him somewhere sheltered he would be a little more happy ?

  • At the weekend we went to Etihad Stadium for Soccer Aid 2021. This is the first time I had been to Etihad, and I have to say it was larger than I was expecting, but as it holds 55,000 I guess it has to be. I don’t think it was at full capacity last night,…

  • Today we had a trip to Dunham Massey National Trust. It’s such a nice place to walk through, not only does it have amazing gardens and a great house to walk around, the large grounds have free roaming deer’s, that you can get close to.

  • Trip into the Lakes

Today we had a trip up to the Lake District. Not been up here for far to long. This time we headed a little further in up to Ullswater / Glenridding. We haven’t been on this lake before so we hired a boat after Ryan had a dip ?

  • An early start this morning to get up to Ingleton Waterfalls before the rush of walkers. We haven’t been here in a very long time. So glad it had cooled down from last week, because I think it would have beaten us before we would have gotten all the way around. As there are still…

  • As it was Fathers Day today, thought we would have a nice walk around Hornby Castle this morning. Never been there before, and as they only open the gardens to the public twice a year it was worth a couple of hours.

  • Having a go at Spin Art

My youngest has been watching a few YouTube art videos lately and wanted to have a go at Spin Art. Was fun to do, just had to make an adapter for my drill and a small paint tent to catch the spinning off paint, and away we went….

  • Week 3 With Eddie The Elf..

Another week with our elf, and as always he’s been busy. A few presents like new slippers and a slush maker. He’s also been getting up to mischief with paint wrapping up Ryans packed lunch and playing cards late into the night for gold coins……
