Google I/O 2019 event

Today was Google’s I/O 2019 event. Normally I do like to try and catch the live stream, but work and family things made it not to be today, so I’ve just watched a 13 min cutdown version from The Verge.

Have to say, I’m liking the new Pixel 3A and at a good price, for the first time it might fall into my price range for a Pixel. As we are talking hardware, I do like the new Home version with camera. Again not really a bad price either.

On the software side, more privacy options and features are always a good thing, and as a regular user of maps I’m liking the options there.

If you haven’t had time to watch the event you can catch it below.

At Google I/O 2019, the company announced the Pixel 3A and 3A XL, along with a new Nest Hub Max smart display that has a camera, and updates coming to Android Q and Google Assistant. In addition, Google is bringing the new Live Caption feature to videos and audio.
